After surpassing 40 million players, Ubisoft has officially announced that *Assassin’s Creed Valhalla* will finally receive a New Game+ mode. The update, which has been in development for over two years, is set to be released as part of a major overhaul of the game. Players can expect additional content and features that will change how they experience Eivor’s journey.
The announcement was made in response to long-standing player requests, with Ubisoft acknowledging that the game has been in development since its 2020 release. A major update was released in 2023, but players continued to push for more. The New Game+ will allow players to replay the story with new mechanics and challenges, enhancing replayability.
This update comes as part of Ubisoft’s broader strategy to improve and expand its *Assassin’s Creed* titles. While the company has confirmed that no new remakes are currently in development, it has emphasized its focus on projects like *Hexe* and *Invictus*. The New Game+ for *Valhalla* is expected to be a significant step forward for the franchise, offering long-time fans a fresh experience.
